INOVA Gates Warranty & Hand-Over


Once the INOVA sliding gate product is completely installed, our INOVA gate Engineer's will demonstrate all the necessary elements to the

client/ contractor before the gate and automation systems are handed over, these elements are as follows;


1. Demonstrate "ALL" entry options on system (e.g. remote controls, keypad etc).

2. Demonstrate "ALL" exit options on system (e.g. Ground loops, swipe system etc).

3. Demonstrate "ALL" safety features and elements on the gate.

4. Demonstrate how to engage manual release in event of emergency.

5. Demonstrate how to re-engage drive system.


All INOVA sliding gates are covered under warranty for the first 12 months of the contract.





INOVA Gates Maintenance Agreement  


Upon completion of this 12 month warranty period, the client has the option to take out a "maintenance agreement" with INOVA gates for

their gate product. Our maintenance agreements can be renewed annually.

This would involve our INOVA Gate Engineer's calling out to maintain your INOVA gate at your site location, under the INOVA gate

maintenance agreements terms and conditions, they are as follows;


- 1 no. Visit per year &

- 1 no. Emergency call out per year.


Our annual maintenance agreement will include the following procedures on site:

(To be carried out by trained INOVA Gate Engineer's only)


1. Check all fixing anchors to main gate column, rear wheel and receiving post. Re-torque if necessary.

2. Examine all rubber safety edges to ensure that each is working correctly (5 No).

3. Check all safety beams where applicable.


- Isolate Power Supply:


4. Inspect 5 lever door lock and cylinder for any signs of wear. Ensure all aspects of the lock are working correctly.

5. Carry out visual inspection inside cabinet for moisture, also checking that internal rubber seals on door are intact.

6. Check all terminal connections on PCB board to ensure no loose connections.

7. Examine all radio cards to ensure they are secure.


- Remove front leading edge on gate frame and lower beam end cap. Slide gate approx. 800mm until it clears resistor and safety chain.

  when gate is now outside of the support of main column, ensure that it is sufficiently safe and secure until work is carried out and Gate is

  returned Into Main Column.


8. Check resistor and safety chain for wear.

9. Visually inspect all drive wheels and clean where necessary.

10.  Lubricate torque jack with specific lubrication oil.


- Re-enter beam over motor drive unit, fixing end cap onto lower beam and fix leading safety edge.


11.  Re-torque drive unit as detailed on the instruction inside cabinet.

12.  Make sure that torque handle is present inside the cabinet door.


- Close main cabinet door and ensure that it is locked in position before turning power to ON.


13.  Carry out visual inspection to ensure that main beam is at desired horizontal level.

14.  Re-check front leading safety edge is working correctly.

15.  Carry out visual inspection of all gate for any damage or corrosion relating to any damage caused.



It is in the best interest of the client that the annual maintenance agreement is taken out with INOVA Gates, to ensure that your INOVA

sliding gate is functioning correctly and safely throughout the life time cycle ......giving you complete peace of mind!!!
